The 2015 All Africa Music Award (AFRIMA), an Annual African Union (AUC) initiative to celebrate, honour and reward the best of African Music, Arts and Culture, was held in Nigeria on 15 November 2015. Broadcasting live to over 80 countries across the world, AFRIMA awarded 23 African musicians in the continental category and 10 from the regional category. Amongst the many notable winners was Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania who snagged the Artiste of the Year award in the continental category.
